Estates

Landed Gentry

The family were gifted the estate in Bouteville, France, by the Queen of England, and then some years later the same family were granted lands in Botevyle, Shropshire, were the family lived for many centuries. At the time of the Magna Carta Sir Geoffrey Bouteville and his brother Olivier were made Governors of the Castle of Belvoir by the King.

The link to the present day Bouteville page contains many photographs and therefore may take some time to load.
