19th Century
Edward Botevyle
The son of Thomas Botevyle and Ann, he was born in Shrewsbury in 1784. He married twice, first to Mary Ann Jones in Shrewsbury in 1807 and later to Priscilla Lissimore in 1830. As far as I know the only offspring were from the first marriage.
The first marriage produced seven children including Jane Harriet Botevyle and Edward Brandon Botevyle. Both of these still having living descendants today.Edward Botevyle

Jane Harriet Botevyle
The daughter of Edward Botevyle and Mary Ann (nee Jones), born in Shrewsbury in 1814. She married twice, first to Francis Powers in Aston-juxta-Birmingham in 1843 and then sometime prior to 1861 to James Sabull, presumably also in Birmingham. There are no offspring from the second marriage as far as I can determine.
Francis Powers & Jane had two children, Francis & Edward Powers. Edward was to be the ancestor of my line of Powers and was my great-great-grandfather.
Edward Brandon Botevyle
The son of Edward Botevyle and Mary Ann (nee Jones), born in Shrewsbury in 1816. He married Ann Burroughs in Colchester, Essex, in 1841. Only one child of this marriage is known, John William Chinnery Botevyle. His descendants live primarily in London and the South-east and are fairly extensive. One of these is John Carter who has helped supply a lot of the information for this particular line.
